It turns out that if you have a tab in firefox say, that contains youtube or some other swf, and you try to execute computeSpectrum, you get a security violation, this is clearly an Adobe bug.  The swf computing the spectrum checks other swf's that are running on your computer... very strange.  I just hope this is the only instance of this happening...
